Project Overview

MEUI Kimchi is a local kimchi making company based in Toronto. They pride themselves for handmade small batch kimchi and non white-washed recipe. To do this branding justice, all graphic assets were built from scratch - logo and custom fonts.

Project Overview

To emphasize the humble, yet genuine beginnings of a Toronto' very own Korean mother turned small-business owner, I used hand drawn ingredients and product illustrations to bring it down to earth. To differentiate itself from the often white-washed and commercialized kimchi market, it used rough edges and cultural visual cues to highlight the business's roots.

Overseeing the National Magazine Awards of Canada event 2019. I designed their booklet that introduced all of the nominees, winners, judges and the work. I also created system and assets for awards given and certification medals.

VandyThePink is an American-Korean streetwear brand that challenges the traditional practices of fashion industry. In order to immerse the customer in the rich and complex backstory of this piece, I used unique handmade props and illustrations to highlight the expressiveness of this piece.

Varsity Jacket & Work In Progress Logo

Project Overview

Varsity jackets are inherently memorabilia that hold North American history. This jacket instead commemorates an a Korean "Moon Bunny" folktale. This product mockup further elaborates on this commemoration with a classic Korean calendar and a typographic logo. Work In Progress logo created by me to celebrate the fashion brand's diligent experimentation.

Seminar Promotion Posters at University of Toronto

Project Overview

This University of Toronto seminar is a speaker series about using architecture as medium to facilitate opposing perspectives about environment, our way of living, and lifestyle. Repeatable high contrast black and white structural planes visualize bringing opposing ideas together to the 3-dimensional plane.

McCann Dogs Professional Trainers

Project Overview

McCann Dogs needed from ground up graphic renewal to meet the needs of newly grown 1.25M+ Youtube audience. I led brand guide system and web design from brainstorming to finish. Keeping the iconic blue, I added softer alternative colour pallets and shapes to draw the eye of younger customers.
